If we are abiding in love, then we are with the Muslims in their feast. Today, I am not wishing them a happy feast only because my childhood friends and some others congratulate me on my major feasts, as has happened a few days ago, but also because their feast brings them joy. This is a delight for me that they be in joy. Nothing is more eloquent than the communion of joy recommended to us by Paul. Also nothing is more eloquent than the lasting childhood. This is our wealth that we remain “like the children”. Those who have experienced poverty in the fast, your fast and ours, can know that the feast is for the constant diligence in preserving this wealth in the face of everything that encourages me to be mature on my own. No adulthood is acceptable except in growing in the communion of love. In love, there is no you and me. In love, we are all you in contentment, peace and prosperity. May God bless you on this Eid, and extend it in all of you every day.
