Disciples of the Word

I had spoken, repeatedly, about the fact that preaching is a gift which some of those who had a share in the ministry had no share in. Today, I will speak about the brethren who are busy complaining before the pulpit of the Word, about those who do not allow It to summon them to Its renewing meanings! I am not talking about the crisis of the people of another planet. The explicitness of the crisis in our midst is as complete as the explicitness of those who pound with their words from the pulpits at random. Let us reflect on our heedlessness of the fact that we are disciples of the Word. Do you think that those who live their lives neglecting the Word will be attracted to Its voice from the pulpits of the Churches? I have a friend who always reiterates that "for a people who neglect the Word from Monday to Saturday, it is difficult, without a miracle, that It will matter to them on Sunday”. No one discovers the mystery of the Word other than him who has been given to discover that It is his on every day; yes, every day.
