Deference

Upon our arrival at YUL airport, we were greeted with obvious deference. Any official, before whom we stood, was facilitating our passage. I asked my daughter-in-law about this facilitation. She said, “the baby (my little granddaughter whom we had put on a “special stroller”), and you. Here, the human being is revered, especially if he were a child or an elderly person”. At the airport, my son asked me to rest in a nearby seat while waiting for our luggage to arrive. There was a man across from me. His face caught my attention. When my daughter-in-law approached me, she saw me peering closely at him. She asked me if I knew him. I replied: “I have a friend who visits “my page” every day, Nimr Elchacra, who holds a job at the airport. Do you think the man is employed here?". The man did not let her answer me. He drew near to the baggage claim. He took a bag and left. He was a traveler just like us. I went out to my daughter, who had arrived from Paris about two hours before us, and a friend who were waiting for us outside. That was our agreement that she would spend her vacation with us. May God be with us.
