Anything suggesting that there is a single letter in the Holy Scriptures that does not relate to Christ is a fall into blind Judaism. We all know that there are exegetes who divide the books of the Old Testament into literary genres: books of law, history, wisdom, and prophets. However, there are great interpreters who believe that all the books, every letter of them, foretell the coming of Christ Who has fulfilled them. I had mentioned to you before about the interpreters who apply promises in the Scriptures to the “State of Israel,” seeing, for example, that their “return to the land” is a fulfillment of the Scriptures. This is a sick departure from the end (Romans 10:4). I understand those who aspire to the salvation of the Jews. We should be concerned with the salvation of all people. Nevertheless, this should not prompt us to use the Scriptures to please people who love nothing more than to see you using everything for the sake of their establishment and glory! The true Christian comes from the Truth that Christ is the End of existence, both present and future.
