Christ is Risen!

This is the Paschal greeting to you and to all those who, in these bitter days, have been broken by grief over a death or an illness or an abandonment or an unemployment or have been shaken by a trauma… Christ is risen, He is risen in all of you. Today, I wanted to call myself and you to chase, with our eyes, after the men and women who went out to the grave of Jesus. The path has been paved for us as well. There is no one in His grave, the grave is empty, no one is even in any grave (Matthew 27:52, 53)! This is our faith that what will take place on the Last Day had been set out by Jesus in His Pascha. Let us be confident. No truth is greater than Pascha. Today, Christ has prevailed over everything that the world considers to be truth. His Death and Resurrection have become the Truth. The time of death, the truth of death is over. “Christ has opened for us a path to the Resurrection”. The angels, then the faithful are those who say: “He is truly risen!”.
