He is one of the brethren and leaders in the Orthodox Youth Movement (MJO) since he fell in love with its eternal newness. Those who know him to be, throughout Antioch, one of the motivators towards reconciling and betterment of our Church, do not miss his elegance, whether he spoke or he listened. The Movement has known many brethren who had excelled in casting its thought in faithful molds. However, the brightest people of whom it has known were those who had the ability both to utter and to receive the Word. The Word is free from confinement. Perfection is a journey. The regeneration is ever a movement of rising and reminding, whether the people in the community are running like deer or walking like a woman in labor! Before brother Chafic (as he is called by those who love him), from a legacy he is still faithful to, left us new books, the last of which was “Zad al-Kherrijin” (The Alumni’s Provisions), he has left us, as legacy, that the Church is both love and service, to God and people.
