A New History

Today, Gaza stands in the midst of the world and says with its rare voice: "Remember that you are human beings". Only humans can remind the nations (of the world) that they are human beings. People in Gaza, young and old, are being exterminated, and, on earth, eyes are opening to the truth. Countries around the world have publicly declared that Palestine is a state that belongs to its people. Then, in some councils of the world, voices have begun to break the shameful silence and condemn the crime of destroying Gaza over its inhabitants. This is not of the rhetoric of death in an area that the beast wants to turn into a graveyard and a sea, but of the rhetoric of life; a life that all the people of Gaza have collectively decided does not consist of mere spans of time, but of meanings. There are people in the world who live long meaningless lives. They rule countries without meaning... What is your significance if you do not bear witness to the truth; that is, what is your meaning if you do not strike the beast who is never sated with blood and with listening to the voices of children screaming in fear? Tomorrow or the day after, history will record that Gaza has created a new history for the world!
