I saw him. I saw them. They were in their cars, in front of a school, waiting for someone, a boy, a girl, a wife, a boyfriend or a girlfriend. The neighborhood I was in is mostly quiet, reminiscent of the wilderness of the monks. Sometimes I choose to spend my walking hour there. I am not saying that he whom I had seen first had attracted my attention more than the others. He was just like them. Most of them were holding their phones in their hands. I passed in front of him. Then, a few minutes later, I came back to him. My return coincided with the end of the school day. Its people, old and young, came out, each to the one waiting for him. I saw him feigning a smile to a little girl who was heading towards him! I assumed she was his daughter. She came at the wrong time! She cut him off from his phone! I had wished to tell him: “throw away what is in your hand, and take her into your bosom”. However, I did not. To whom are you talking?! He is a picture of the world today! Who will give back to the world its heart?!
