A Date With Palestine

In July of the year 2014, I asked “Gaza” for a date to meet up. Today, all of Palestine is answering the request. This pretty young girl was also overcome with her longings. No matter how many years you have been away from her, you will recognize her. You will recognize her by her word, her scent, her sweet-sounding voice and her streets which interconnect, in one minute, as if they were all a wedding yard! “I am not a minor. The free people know me, so do the birds of the air”! Today, Palestine is not merely writing for herself a page about the beauty of freedom; rather, the free one is twisting the arm of arbitrariness and arrogance! Do you hear her singing: “I am my own woman. I say who I am. I keep my own name. I accept my guests. I sort out my neighbors. I do not accept vicinity with hatred. I have no borders with falsehood. Take a good look. I am a homeland that is entirely open unto eternal dawns”? Until we meet again!
