Reading is a commitment. You benefit from it here, and you fail there. However, as a committed reader, you can, through books you choose or which choose you, expect the gifts that expand your horizon. This was my case while reading “the book of biography” of the thrice-blessed memory Father Elias Morcos, which was excellently written by Archimandrite Touma Bitar. Today, I hold my pen for three things: to thank, to call, and to encourage. I would, first of all, like to thank Father Touma for his labor in putting together this book; then, to call those who are interested in reading the committed books, to strive to get hold of it. As for the “regeneration youths” of Antioch, I encourage them, in particular, to find a way, today, to get together on it, to study and discuss it. I do not think that there is a more beneficial book than a book which tells about an incarnate word, “a word of the Word”. Indeed, thank you!
