How do we survive the trauma? This is impossible without an experience that allows us to be a cause of consolation. I am not simplifying the crisis for you. I am not telling you anything that is difficult for you to know. Like you, I do know that there are traumas, in the Church and in the world, that are extremely difficult, for example, the trauma of a brother inside whom a monster is concealed. Keep in mind that life is a constant battle. If you are able to defend yourself in a heated battle against enemies, do not let the friendly fire kill you. Be patient. Give yourself a share of the awareness that one of the highest goals of our existence in life is to acquire the ability to console traumatized people. This, if you acquire it, is a source of strength unlike any other. This makes you, in life, a prince, that is, a face that is a lasting reminder of a more peaceful and loving world.
