This is what was evoked in me through my reading of the awaited book: “Metropolitan Boulos Bendaly, the Living Homily: Sayings, Testimonies and Stories”, published by the Orthodox An-Nour Cooperative (May 2023). The book does not compile the entire legacy of Metropolitan Boulos, what he had said and done or what was said and is still being said about him by brethren who had known him; holiness is not restrained by language. However, it tells the same story again, the story of Jesus, Who has created to the world, with His “mad love”, a new language and history. About this story, Metropolitan Boulos says a single word: “you have nothing with me but a God Who loves you so much". Thanks to the brethren who worked so hard to publish this iconic book.
