People are more and more moving away, nowadays, from what is essential in the life of communion, that is, from asking for support in prayer. This is heedlessness coupled with excessive self-reliance, that is, keeping away from seeking God\u2019s help, as well as forsaking the parlance of the Saints (1 Thessalonians 5:25). Today, who would say to another: \u201cbrother, pray for me\u201d? Who would seek the protection of God, through people? In my youth, this request occupied our everyday. Its beautiful sound used to engage us from every side. Today, great ignorance dwells in our mouths. This painful alienation led me to write about a woman whom we had known for a short time among us before she returned to her country. Yesterday, I learned that she had called a friend of ours, and told her that she needed prayer. \u201cTell the brethren to pray for me\u201d.
