This Pascha is my victory at all times. Death is lurking around every time. It is death or the possibility of death. In this life, I have no salvation from death except in Jesus alone. How do I receive Him as Living and Life-Giving? This is the question of the feast; rather the question of the whole life. All of Christianity, in its details, is to know that Jesus alone is my life. If I place anyone ahead of Him, I reveal that I do not perceive what He had done in His Pascha. If he calls me to Him, I will not reach Him. This means that the feast does not consist of being relieved of a fast I had carried out for a well-known number of weeks, but rather, of always reconciling that, for me, God is first; He is my life, my wealth and my future; He is my relief in affliction, my comfort in my anguish, and the fullness of my happiness. In whatever circumstance, in God, I am strong; this is the enduring Pascha which Jesus wants to extend, through me, to the world.
