I know his piety. I told him what I would like to repeat publicly: \u201cin a world that is only good at exploiting people, this is not always a request within reach\u201d! He kept on asking. He left no door he did not knock on. I learned from him that someone, on social media, had offered him what he wanted for an incredible amount of money! He came back to me. I repeated to him what I had first said, before clarifying: \u201cwho can prove to you that what is offered is authentic, real, and is a relic from the wood on which Jesus has given His blood freely for the salvation of the world?\u201d! I stopped talking for a while, before adding: \u201cno one searches for something that is already with him\u201d. He asked me, astonished: \u201chow is it with me?!\u201d. I replied: \u201cmake the sign of the Cross. In our tradition, this is equivalent to praying to the East, immersion three times in baptism, and invoking the Holy Spirit over the offerings\u2026 This is both an icon and a relic!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I do not know where from my friend came up with his request for a relic from the True Cross.
