Luke, in listing the disciples, said: \u201cand Judas who also became a traitor\u201d (6:16). People reverse themselves. How does Jesus remain capable of friendship in times when we do not show that we deserve anything? A shocking thing, really! However, it is more to be desired than honey. I have not concealed from you, in previous lines, my belief that our reversal, in our relationship with Jesus, does not refer to a friendship that we had accepted and then retracted, but that we have been deceitful from the very beginning with our showing a love that we do not really feel. Jesus, this desirable God, is, alone, a perfect love story.
