Both regions were open to the Lebanon of diversity. I was born in \u201cMazraa\u201d (literally: the farm). I left it as a five-year old child, and grew up in \u201cBourj\u201d (literally: the tower). The neighborhood I grew up in had different confessions and different nationalities. Lebanon, a miniature Lebanon. When I committed myself to the life of the Church, it was easy for me to understand the fact that \u201cChrist is universal\u201d. \u201cFor the same Lord over all\u201d (Romans 10:12), on Whom the Church was established, our neighborhood had many of His attributes. After the \u201ctwo years' war\u201d, many neighborhoods in Lebanon acquired another perception. \u201cSectarian\u201d and \u201cracist\u201d views had corrupted them\u2026 Can Lebanon ever recover of this evil? Have you known, in your childhood, a neighborhood like ours?
